Created as a private commission for a collector who loved the original Lepidoptera collection, Red Lepidoptera reimagines the design in an entirely new palette.

The dramatic black background of the original collection was replaced with a warm sienna crackle finish created from ground Burnt Sienna pigment sourced from Tuscany. To complement the lighter surface, the peony artwork was enhanced with richer crimson tones, giving the collection its distinctive name and character.

Produced only in small quantities and never offered through retail stores, Red Lepidoptera remains one of the most exclusive collections in the Lesley Roy Archive.
