Opening the Cabinets
For more than four decades, I rarely separated my work into categories.
Glass lived beside paintings.
Jewelry rested beside botanical studies.
Sketchbooks shared shelves with prototypes.
Tiny experiments lived comfortably beside finished works.
Over time, the cabinets filled.
So did the flat files.
The drawers.
The portfolios.
The buildings.
Together they became a creative world.
For the first time, I'm opening it.
Not simply to sell objects,
but to share the ideas, experiments, discoveries, and beautiful surprises that shaped a lifetime of making.
Some pieces may find new homes.

A Grand New Chapter
The shift away from large-scale wholesale manufacturing in 2005 allowed greater focus on the flagship retail store, private clients, online sales, and custom commissions—and honestly, the prospect of a much-needed break.
But before there was even time to consider what might come next, the next chapter had already arrived.
The day the wholesale operation ended, I boarded a plane for London that very night.
A few weeks earlier, the producer of an upcoming History Channel documentary had called from the UK and asked me to photograph the paintings of renowned surgeon and artist Dr. Ala Bashir.
I could never have imagined where that flight would lead, but just a few days later I called my assistant from London and said, “Caitlin, get ready—we’re gutting the buildings and building a cultural arts center.”
Working alongside Dr. Bashir and an international circle of collaborators, the next decade became one of curating exhibitions, diplomacy, preservation, and public education—ultimately leading to the creation of a museum and the safeguarding of an important body of artwork that had survived the war in Iraq.

Oh no, sorry—that was the History Channel.
In 2020, another chapter began. Over five months, my team and I inspected, signed, photographed, hand-cleaned, and carefully wrapped every piece before moving the collection into a climate-controlled archive.
The Collection Today
The works offered here are drawn from that archive and released one piece at a time as they find new homes.
