Fruit Orchard 21" Handled Oval Platter — Purple Plum

Created as the original prototype for this dramatic 21" Handled Oval Platter, the Purple Plum design was ultimately never placed into production. For the holiday collection, Lesley Roy instead selected the rich red Apple/Cherry pattern that would become the production design for this Signature Form.

Richly colored purple plums wind across the generous oval surface, framed by Lesley Roy's distinctive hand-leafed border and signature Old Masters crackle finish. Designed for entertaining or display, its sculptural handled silhouette makes an equally striking centerpiece on a dining table, kitchen island, or sideboard.

Only one Purple Plum prototype was ever produced. Never offered for sale and never previously shown, this one-of-a-kind piece is now available for the first time from the Lesley Roy Archive.
