A one-of-a-kind Golden Urn Vase alive with color, abundance and extraordinary detail.

Inspired by the centuries-old art of pietra dura, Lesley Roy created the illusion of intricate semi-precious stone inlay across a luminous crackled golden ground. A magnificent composition of fruit, foliage and birds wraps the generous urn form, rendered in jewel-like tones reminiscent of lapis, amethyst, jade, carnelian and rose quartz.

The voluptuous 15-inch silhouette, sweeping shoulders and dramatically flared rim give the piece remarkable presence. Filled with branches or flowers it becomes an exuberant centerpiece; left completely unfilled, it is sculpture in its own right.
