Campfire Glass Talisman
These early talismans were assembled from sea glass, coral, shells, and fragments gathered along coastlines around the world. Each piece began as something weathered, overlooked, or left behind. Reassembled by hand, they became small acts of remembrance—homage to disappearing landscapes, resilient beauty, and the quiet belief that transformation is always possible. Born on the beaches of Puerto Rico, this was the first of Lesley's Campfire Glass Talismans. Created from weathered sea glass and glass fused in beach bonfires, the sculpture transformed found fragments into a symbol of resilience. What had been discarded became something precious again—a small monument to healing, remembrance, and the enduring beauty of transformation.
