Campfire Glass Talisman
Campfire Glass Talisman
The first of Lesley Roy's Campfire Glass Talismans, this sculpture was created from sea glass, rare Campfire Glass, coral, and shells, first gathered along the beaches of Puerto Rico, then from coastlines around the world.
Campfire Glass begins as ordinary bottles melted in beach bonfires before being reclaimed by the sea. Together with naturally weathered sea glass, these fragments were carefully composed by hand into a sculpture that celebrates resilience, transformation, and the quiet beauty revealed through time and tide.
More than a sculpture, it is a small act of remembrance—a tribute to healing, the changing shoreline, and the enduring belief that beauty is never truly lost. It simply waits to be recognized again.
