Rosarium 18" Glass Place-Setting & Presentation Board — Scarlet May Rose
Originally designed as the foundation of an elaborate Rosarium place setting, this substantial rectangular glass form was used for the House of Windsor commission, layered beneath the collection’s fluted dinnerware to create a dramatic botanical setting for each guest.
The Scarlet May Rose sweeps across Lesley Roy’s signature softly crackled ground, framed by luminous hand-finished edges. Measuring an impressive 18.5" × 14.5", its generous flat surface allows the artwork to extend beyond the dinnerware, transforming the entire place setting into a botanical composition.
Remarkably versatile, the form feels just as relevant for entertaining today. Beyond its original use as a glass place-setting mat, it can become a spectacular charcuterie or cheese board, individual dining board, serving piece, centerpiece foundation, or presentation surface for desserts, cocktails and beautifully composed food.
Substantial in both scale and weight, it is part functional tableware, part decorative object—and a striking example of the layered approach to entertaining for which the Rosarium Collection was conceived.
Dimensions: 18.5" × 14.5"
